Liu Shaoyang, 12 years old, from Shizuishan City, Ningxia Province, was
diagnosed as
Nephrotic Syndrome in local hospital. Doctors offered hormone to
him to control the proteinuria. In order to get rid of hormone medicine which
can bring many sides effects, his parents bring him to our hospital in the year
of 2006. Before he went to our hospital, protein is +++ and he took 7 pills of
hormone medicine one day. Patient was easy to be angry and had serious edema
when he came to our hospital. Besides, he also preferred salty food. During the
treatment procedure, doctor suggested a low-salt diet to him. About 3 days
later, his edema disappeared gradually and 7 days later protein turned negative.
Now, this boy has already stopped taking hormone medicine.
